The young lyric baritone from Ukraine of Armenian origin, has a beautiful and full voice, a warm timbre with a outstanding top register. Studied vocals at the Odessa Music Academy with Polivanova Galina. After completing the Music Academy, he was hired as a soloist at the Odessa
National Opera and Ballet Theater under the direction of chief conductor Alexandru Samuile! He was the youngest participant in the
15th International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and took part at the International Opera Festival in Minsk, where he performed the part of Prince Yeletsky.
At the Odessa Opera House Harry Hukasian performed parts such as: Prince Yeletsky from the opera „The Queen of Spades “ by P. Tchaikovsky which was his debut at this opera house in 2015 and the part of Onegin in “Eugene Onegin“ by P. Tchaikovsky.
During his career he performed parts such as: Roberto from the opera „Iolanta“ by P. Tchaikovsky, Silvio from the opera „Pagliacci „by
R. Leoncalallo, Aeneas from the opera „Dido and Aeneas “ by H. Purcell, Figaro from the opera “ The Barber of Seville “ by G. Rossini, Marcello from the opera “ La Bohème “ by G. Puccini, Germaine from the opera „Traviata“ by G. Verdi, and the Venetian from the opera “ Sadko“ by N. Rimsky-Korsakov.
Harry Hukasian performed also in German repertoire in a concert version of „Tannhauser“ with the part of Wolfram.
