The russian soprano Tatiana Trenogina has a warm, round and full dramatic voice. She is a soloist of the Latvian National Opera, graduated with honors from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow (class of Galina Pisarenko – National Artist of Russia) and continued her studies at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music in Brussels under the direction of José van Dam. She has also honed her vocal skills with many renowned artists including Teresa Berganza, Gabriela Tucci, Franco Pagliazzi, Helmut Deutsch, James McCray, Makvala Kasrashvili, Maris Skuja, Dale Fundling.
Upcoming engagements of Tatiana Trenogina include the role of Adriana Lecouvreur by Cilea at the Latvian National Opera.
Her current repertoire consists of many important soprano solo parts; among them are Aida, Amelia Grimaldi, Cio-Cio-san, Mimi, Liù, Nedda, Lisa, Tatiana, Iolanta, Donna Anna, Contessa, as well as Beethoven’s 9 Symphony, « Four Last songs » by Strauss and Verdi’s Requiem.
Tatiana is a laureate of more than 15 international competitions including Maria Callas Grand Prix, Queen Elizabeth Competition, competitions of Vincenzo Bellini, Riccardo Zandonai, Renata Tebaldi, Galina Vishnevskaya, Julian Gayarre and Elena Obraztsova. Singer made her debut with the Royal Opera House La Monnaie in the role of Xenia in Boris Godunov and has since participated in various productions there, including the Fiery Angel by Prokofiev conducted by Kazushi Ono and Cendrillon by Massenet. With the renowned Bolshoi Theatre Tatiana made her debut as Iolanta.
An avid recitalist, Tatiana has performed numerous concerts around the world including the Royal Opera House La Monnaie in Brussels, Grant Théatre Luxembourg, Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels, Theatre San Marino, Musical Festival in Menton, France, April Spring Art Festival in North Korea, Sviatoslav Richter festival, also China and Japan.
