Maximilian Lee, South Korean Bariton has a round warm and strong Bariton with a beautiful legato line and shiny top notes.
He is a prize winner of numerous international competitions, including First Prize at the Valsesia Musica International Competition  (2024), Second Prize and the Audience Prize at the Concorso Piero Cappuccilli (2024),  and the Lions Club Prize at the Alcamo Voice Competition. He has also achieved success at the Concours de Marmande, the Mirjam Helin Competition, and the Montserrat Caballé Competition. On the opera stage, he has performed major  baritone roles such as Germont (La Traviata), Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Il Conte (Le nozze di Figaro), and Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), with appearances in Seoul, Tokyo, and Mannheim.
Maximilian Lee studied voice at the Korea National University of Arts under Professor Simon Yang. Since 2023, he has been pursuing his Master’s degree in Concert and Lied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, where he studies with Professor Stefanie Krahnenfeld.
On the opera stage, he has performed major baritone roles such as Germont (La Traviata), Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Il Conte (Le nozze di Figaro), and Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), with appearances in Seoul, Tokyo, and Mannheim.
Since 2023, he has been a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium and has participated in masterclasses with artists including Samuel Youn, and Cheryl Studer.
