Georgian soprano Lina Tsiklauri has a warm, big lyrical voice with a soaring high register and elegant legato.
In summer 2025, she will make her debut at the Erfurt ‘Domstufen-Festspiele’ in a new production of La Boheme by G. Puccini with the part „Musetta“.
She completed her training at the renowned Tbilisi State Conservatoire, where she obtained both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in singing (opera). At the same time, she completed further studies in composition and musicology, specialising in music journalism – an expression of her profound artistic versatility.
She received her vocal training under the guidance of Guliko Kariauli (since 2018), whose mentoring contributed significantly to the development of her vocal expressiveness. She received international impulses through coaching with Diego Mingolla (Sequenda Opera Studio, Luxembourg), Mzia Bakhtouridze and Bruno Nicoli (Milan), as well as Ricardo Estrada (Barcelona).
She has attended masterclasses with international greats such as Barbara Frittoli, Orlin Anastasov, Mariella Devia, Madelyn Renée, Roberto Servile, Maria Gallego, Paata Burchuladze, Iano Tamar, Alla Simoni and Andrea Melati – encounters that have had a decisive influence on her artistic profile.
Her talent has been recognised at numerous international competitions: she was a finalist in the auditions of the Académie de l’Opéra national de Paris (2023), the Concorso Lirico Internazionale Città di Genova (2022), the Lado Ataneli International Competitions (2022) and the Portofino International Singing Competition. She received awards at the Montserrat Caballé International Competition (2021) and the Batumian Rhapsody / Opera’s Golden Voice. In 2019 she was awarded first prize at the Nino Andguladze International Competition.
With her elegant stage presence, multi-faceted voice and musical intelligence, Lina Tsiklauri is one of the most promising talents.
